About the role#
We are looking for a casual Deli Clerk to join our team at the Innisfail Food Store. This role involves less than 24 hours per week with availability required across mornings, afternoons, and evenings on both weekdays and weekends. Applicants must be over 14 years old.
What you'll do#
- Provide helpful service to our customers.
- Prepare food items including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, fried foods, and special trays.
- Stock, package, slice, and label products for our customers to purchase.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the manager.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfort working in a busy environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as some heavy lifting is required.
- While experience with food preparation is helpful, we provide training for this role.
