About the role#
As the Location Manager for the Hanna Agro site, you will provide overall leadership for the operation. You will report to the Agro Division Manager and ensure all activities align with company values. This role requires a focus on both daily operations and long-term sustainability.
What you'll do#
- Lead talent management efforts, including performance management, development, and hiring.
- Manage the safe and effective operation of the location.
- Work with your team to improve operational results and execute business strategies.
- Assist in the preparation and development of the annual budget.
- Handle administrative duties such as invoices and claims to meet established timelines.
- Oversee financial results, including sales, margins, inventory, and expenses.
- Review financial statements to provide coaching and identify areas for improvement.
- Support marketing campaigns and collaborate with other Agro locations to enhance business.
What you'll need#
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably within the Ag industry.
- Commitment to ongoing development in areas like agronomy, chemical, seed, and crop production.
- Ability to plan and align resources, including budgets and processes.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships and manage conflict.
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Education in Agriculture, Business Administration, or Operations Management is preferred.
