About the role#
We are hiring a Student Cashier for our Melfort Food Store. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work on-site as part of the team at the Saskatoon Co-operative Association Ltd.
What you'll do#
- Process customer purchases using the cash register, including coupons, rain checks, and cheque authorizations.
- Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers.
- Help plan and organize merchandise displays for regular stock and promotional events.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on the job.
- Watch for unauthorized removal of merchandise to ensure store security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- An energetic and upbeat personality.
- The ability to work well with the public and your co-workers.
- A desire to learn and complete tasks with minimal supervision once trained.
- You must be bondable.
- Students pursuing studies in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance are encouraged to apply.
