    About the role#

    Schnabel Engineering is seeking a temporary full-time intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position focuses on expanding your practical knowledge through work on tunnels and underground structures. You will work under the supervision of senior engineering personnel to apply professional principles to real-world projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply professional principles, numerical models, and solutions to engineering problems.
    • Prepare CAD drawings for contract documents and technical reports.
    • Perform structural and geotechnical design calculations for tunnels, shafts, and excavation support.
    • Participate in both office and field work.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor’s degree program.
    • A valid driver’s license.
    • Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screening.
    • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.

    • Location: Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship.
