About the role#
Sedaro is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to build capabilities for our aerospace simulation platform. You will work across the stack, developing features from the React user interface to the Python and Django services that power the system. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud-native infrastructure while delivering tools used by aerospace engineers.
What you'll do#
- Build features end-to-end, ranging from React UI components to Django API endpoints.
- Design and implement API contracts to support clear and performant user experiences.
- Develop intuitive data visualizations to present complex simulation outputs.
- Write automated tests across the stack.
- Deliver work regularly within a Lean and Agile process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience building web applications with React.
- Familiarity with at least one server-side language, with a preference for Python.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident status.
- Experience with Django, relational databases like Postgres, Docker, or data visualization is a plus.
