About the role#
Seidel Schroeder is hiring a tax intern for the Winter 2028 term. You will work alongside our associates, managers, and partners to gain experience in tax planning and preparation. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in College Station, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns from start to finish for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and payroll.
- Review data to identify and resolve technical tax issues.
- Assist in the review of tax preparations.
- Adjust client-prepared books to ensure the accuracy of tax returns.
- Research and review tax issues and share findings with the team.
- Complete additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completion of Intermediates I and II courses before the internship starts.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher, with at least a 3.0 in accounting coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to proofread for accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
