About the role#
This pharmacy internship provides practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to deliver health, beauty, and convenience services while learning the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. This role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for success by bridging academic knowledge with real world training.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent according to privacy requirements.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Develop skills in drug therapy, patient counseling, and disease state management.
- Gain knowledge of over-the-counter products.
- Enhance communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
- Ability to manage retail pharmacy operations.
- Strong focus on patient privacy and consent management.
- Capacity to engage with customers and provide professional service.

- Location: 1350 18th Street, Unit 3, Brandon, Manitoba.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $27.50 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
