What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Keep the customer at the center of your daily work.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain strict privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management.
- Enhance your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, employees, and other health care workers.
- Learn the skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- An interest in pharmacy operations and customer service.
- Ability to be clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
