About the role#
This position offers practical experience for students pursuing careers in pharmacy. You will work for a local business owner while receiving the support of a national brand. This role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for success in a community setting.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Support the store's Health and Wellness philosophy.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy counter.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop skills in patient communication, disease state management, and retail pharmacy operations.
- Learn about over-the-counter products and drug therapy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- An interest in gaining real-world training within a community pharmacy environment.
