About the role#
This is a part-time, hourly position for pharmacy students at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Osoyoos, British Columbia. You will gain practical experience in a community pharmacy setting, focusing on patient interaction and retail pharmacy operations. This role offers flexible shifts to accommodate your academic schedule.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain strict privacy standards, including managing customer confidentiality and consent.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional experience for pharmacy customers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of OTC products and patient counseling.
- Ability to manage privacy requirements and retail pharmacy tasks.

- Location: 8305 Main St, Osoyoos, BC.
- Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
