About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students practical experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic learning while preparing you for a career as a pharmacist. You will work directly for a local business owner with the support of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent according to privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Assist with over-the-counter products, disease state management, and drug therapy.
- Practice patient counseling skills.
- Participate in retail pharmacy management training.
