About the role#
This is a part time, hourly position for students currently pursuing studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health. You will work in a local community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience while supporting the daily operations of the store.
What you'll do#
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are met.
- Assist with disease state management and drug therapy tasks.
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Prepare for a future career as a pharmacist in a community setting.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant academic program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Public Health.
- A focus on enhancing communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- A desire to build your knowledge of over-the-counter products.

- Location: 5555 Gilbert Road, Unit 155, Richmond, British Columbia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.00 - $28.75 per hour.
- Schedule: Part time, rolling term.
