About the role#
This is a part-time, hourly pharmacy student position at a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Canmore, Alberta. This role provides practical, real-world experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage pharmacy operations while maintaining customer confidentiality.
- Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance to remain clearly identifiable to the public.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program related to Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
- Knowledge of over-the-counter products.
- Ability to develop patient counseling skills.
- Interest in enhancing communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care professionals.

- Location: 933 Railway Avenue, Canmore, AB.
- Schedule: Part-time, day shifts.
- Pay: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour, based on experience and location.
