About the role#
Simmons Foods offers a summer internship program focused on real-world projects. You will work on tasks related to your field of study while building relationships across different departments. This role is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
What you'll do#
- Execute project work that addresses specific challenges within your department.
- Perform day-to-day tasks to gain an understanding of process fundamentals.
- Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction efforts.
- Present your project findings to your team and senior leadership at the end of the summer.
- Participate in team meetings and support departmental objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to use computers and software programs effectively.
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours and lift at least 10 pounds.
