About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in both field coaching and office operations. You will spend roughly half your time leading soccer sessions and the other half supporting business functions. This role is a fit for students in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing who want to learn the day-to-day operations of a youth sports franchise.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18 months to 8 years.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and general business operations.
- Support community events and outreach programs.
- Participate in both online and in-person training.
What you'll need#
- A genuine interest in impacting children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- A valid driver license and access to a personal, insured vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Rockville, Maryland, with travel required to coaching sites and the office in Burtonsville.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (50% on-field coaching, 50% office and events).
- Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours per week), including weekends.
- Compensation: Paid position.
