About the role#
This internship offers a mix of field coaching and office experience. You will work with children ages 18 months to 8 years old, helping them learn soccer in a fun environment. The role is split between on-field coaching and supporting administrative tasks. You will gain insight into the daily operations of a youth sports franchise while working with a supportive team.
What you'll do#
- Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for young children.
- Support business operations and marketing initiatives in the office.
- Assist with community events.
- Participate in both online and in-person training.
What you'll need#
- A desire to impact children through sports and fitness.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
- Reliable transportation for commuting to the office and various coaching sites.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Majors in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, Psychology, or Communications are relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Columbia, Maryland.
- Term: Fall 2026 (August 17 to December 4).
- Schedule: 30+ hours per week, including weekend availability.
- Modality: Hybrid (50% on-field coaching and 50% office/events).
- Compensation: $13.25 to $17.95 per hour.
