About the role#
We are looking for an aspiring developer to join our team in San Diego. You will build applications that impact products used by millions of customers. We want people who enjoy software engineering, like learning new languages, and take pride in their code. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Build scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services in a cloud environment.
- Create scripts and tools to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring workflows.
- Design and manage Docker-based solutions for portable, reproducible development and production environments.
- Implement monitoring and analytics pipelines that use machine learning and AI to surface system health and usage trends.
- Design and code intuitive web portals and dashboards for enterprise management applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building web services and applications with Golang, Rust, NodeJS, MySQL, Vue, or React.
- Familiarity with Linux and shell languages.
- Experience with client-server architecture and web services.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD is preferred.

- This position is based in San Diego, California.
- The role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of home and office work.
- The anticipated hourly wage is between $24.20 and $38.50.
