About the role#
FREOPP is looking for an Operations Intern to help our growing organization. This is a hands-on role for someone who likes solving problems and bringing structure to our daily work. You will work closely with senior staff across several functions including operations, development, and research. This is not a traditional administrative internship. You will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities and independent projects while learning how a small organization operates.
What you'll do#
- Support the daily operations of the organization by coordinating meetings, calendars, and logistics.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure recurring processes are completed on time.
- Assist with event planning, office administration, and donor management tasks including CRM maintenance and research.
- Identify ways to improve organizational workflows, databases, and internal systems.
- Research and implement new tools to help the team work more effectively.
- Develop and maintain trackers, SOPs, and other resources to improve onboarding and continuity.
- Take ownership of development projects from initial research through implementation.
- Assist with research and other special projects as needed.
