About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in the medical equipment manufacturing industry. You will work with the Joint Replacement Sales team to understand branch operations, sales processes, and product applications. This is a full-time, paid summer position designed for students currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch functions.
- Develop a project segment focused on target account lists or marketing strategies.
- Receive coaching on selling skills and instrument use techniques.
- Assist with the delivery of instrument kits to and from customer accounts.
- Support warehouse operations by assembling and breaking down instrument kits for surgery.
- Collaborate with various teams on product-related tasks and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Status as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership and business acumen skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
