About the role#
The Ortho Sales internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with medical technology in a field-based setting. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to understand the processes behind our joint replacement products. This role is designed for students interested in a career in medical sales.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch operations.
- Develop a target account list and contribute to marketing strategy projects.
- Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques through mentorship.
- Assist warehouse team members with the assembly and breakdown of instrument kits.
- Help deliver kits to customer accounts.
- Support Sales and Field Operations teams with special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Intent to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the summer term.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status.
