About the role#
Stryker is hiring an Ortho Sales Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, California. You will work directly with our sales and operations teams to gain hands-on experience in the medical equipment manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to understand all aspects of the branch.
- Develop a target account list or create a marketing strategy as part of a dedicated project.
- Learn selling skills, sales processes, and instrument use techniques through coaching and mentoring.
- Assist the warehouse team with assembling and breaking down instrument kits.
- Support the field operations team with special projects and deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Communications.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Students must plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the summer term.
