About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at medical technology sales and operations. You will work directly with our branch teams to understand how we support healthcare providers and improve patient outcomes. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027 based in Lenexa, Kansas.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to learn about branch functions.
- Develop a project focused on target account lists or marketing strategy.
- Receive coaching on sales processes and instrument use techniques.
- Assist with the delivery of instrument kits to customer accounts.
- Support warehouse staff in assembling and breaking down instrument kits for surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with various teams on special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Communications.
- Plans to remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer term.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proven leadership skills and business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
