About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will work directly with design and operations teams to bring medical products to market. This role focuses on hands-on improvements to production processes and requires a consistent presence at our Cary facility.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to bring products to market efficiently.
- Perform fixture development and assembly line optimization.
- Implement lean manufacturing and process validation.
- Execute ergonomics and safety improvements.
- Document complex processes and present them in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or above.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- This position is based in Cary, Illinois.
- The role is 100% on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
