About the role#
STV is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in Los Angeles. You will work alongside our experienced team to support civil engineering projects from initial concept through completion.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
- Prepare technical reports, narratives, and development applications.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals and project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or Open Roads Designer.
- Prior experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.

- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week required in the office.
- Term: Summer 2027.
