About the role#
STV is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Oklahoma City. You will work alongside our engineering team on projects including public transit terminals, transportation maintenance facilities, and municipal buildings. We ask that you work from the office at least 3 days per week.
What you'll do#
- Conduct field surveys, perform engineering calculations, and complete CAD tasks.
- Prepare AC and DC single-line diagrams, metering and relaying schematics, and control schematics.
- Design grounding grids, lightning protection, lighting, and power distribution systems.
- Build electrical system models using SKM, ETAP, and EasyPower software.
- Assist the team in preparing technical and cost proposals as well as change orders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for Electrical Engineering.
- Enrollment at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
- Intermediate proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation software.
