About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at SWIVEL, you will work directly with our engineering teams to build software solutions. This role provides hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will receive mentorship and support as you contribute to projects that impact our business and clients.
What you'll do#
- Build full-stack applications and work with microservices.
- Develop features for web-based user interfaces.
- Create systems that interface with our clientele and tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams on daily operations.
- Shadow team members to expand your technical knowledge.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as they arise.
- Gain exposure to the financial services industry and apply your academic knowledge to solve real problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Experience with C, C#, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to organize your work and adapt to changes.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professionalism and a proactive desire to learn.
