About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to join the innovation team at Syska Hennessy Group in New York. You will report to the Innovation Program Manager and work with staff members across the country to accelerate the development phase of various innovation projects.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain web or mobile applications.
- Organize and document your code to ensure it remains clean and usable.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in team discussions and propose creative solutions to programming challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: ReactJS, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- A solid grasp of software development principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A proactive attitude toward taking on new assignments and learning new technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Compensation: $25 to $28 per hour.
