About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, hands-on internship program designed to prepare you for a future in retail leadership. Over the course of the summer, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work closely with mentors and store managers to understand how our business functions and what it takes to lead a team effectively. This role requires on-site work and is open to students pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or Psychology.
What you'll do#
- Drive guest experience and impact store performance.
- Lead and motivate a team of hourly members and team leaders.
- Teach, coach, train, and provide performance feedback to team members.
- Plan daily goals and organize operational plans for your department.
- Spend time on the sales floor and in the backroom to align the team on daily priorities.
- Partner with store leaders to troubleshoot business issues and follow up on opportunities.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and secure culture while ensuring ethical conduct.
- Assist guests, solve their needs, and ensure they have a welcoming shopping experience.
What you'll need#

- Proven leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- Capacity to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, scan merchandise, and lift or move items up to 44 pounds.
Location & details#
- Locations: Longmont, CO and Loveland, CO.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
