About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position based in Katy, Texas, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Aerospace, Defense & Marine business unit to support strategic operations and project management initiatives. This role requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of strategic operations priorities.
- Drive projects that contribute to long-term operations enablement of revenue growth.
- Develop plans to bring operating practices into the business unit.
- Analyze strategic operations scenarios and trade-offs, including Make vs. Buy decisions, footprint location decisions, and project prioritization.
- Review past and current operations performance trends to determine priorities for strategic action.
- Research trends in operations and supply chain, including benchmarking best practices, emerging technologies, and process innovations.
- Assist with the preparation of management presentations on strategy topics.
- Support project documentation and facilitate communication across the operations team.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience, including gap year students, will be considered.
- Preference for prior internship experience or completion of a major project.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to creatively solve problems using data and analytics.
- Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter mindset.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee due to export control regulations.
