About the role#
Team Kline is hiring an Intern to support construction projects in Des Moines. This is a paid, full-time position available for the Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027 terms. You will work on-site under the supervision of a site foreman.
What you'll do#
- Assist with trade-specific system installations.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by following all safety protocols.
- Support the team with necessary materials and tools.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and navigating confined spaces.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an internship or school-to-work program with one of our local partners.
- A strong willingness to learn and work within a team.
- Reliable transportation.
- OSHA10 certificate is preferred.
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme weather.
