About the role#
As a Pharmacist Intern at Saint Francis Hospital, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your specific duties will align with your current academic standing and professional education. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation, dispensing, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
- Review and interpret patient orders to check for dosage appropriateness and potential drug interactions.
- Conduct medication rounds and prepare IV additives using aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patient therapy through pharmacokinetic analysis of drug levels.
- Participate in projects and educational programs to improve department operations.
What you'll need#

- A valid Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
