About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on learning the retail business through hands-on experience. You will work directly with the Store Manager to understand daily operations, sales strategies, and leadership responsibilities. This is a full-time, on-site role designed for students interested in a long-term commitment with the company.
What you'll do#
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks including cashiering and store maintenance.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking your results.
- Complete training modules from the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and hiring.
- Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.
- Open and close cash registers, balance cash drawers, and handle deposits.
- Assist guests with finding merchandise and creating a positive shopping experience.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management.
- No prior experience or training is required for this position.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.

- Schedule: Full-time with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
