About the role#
The Sales & Management Intern position focuses on creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests while learning the retail business. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand how the company operates and what it takes to succeed in management. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude.
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
- Maintain and share knowledge of current sales and promotions.
- Present merchandise in a manner that maximizes sales.
- Complete Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting tasks.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Perform operational tasks including cashiering, merchandise display, and facility cleaning.
- Provide weekly progress reports to area and district management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- No prior experience or training is necessary.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
