About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to learn retail operations and management at Buckle. You will work closely with store management to understand our business and develop leadership skills. This is a full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Greet Guests and provide service throughout the store.
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks, including cashiering and maintaining store displays.
- Complete the Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing, and Hiring sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Operations Management.
- No prior experience or training is required.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends.
