About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on creating an enjoyable shopping experience while learning the fundamentals of retail management. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand how the business operates and what is required to excel in a leadership role. This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Roseville, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks assigned by store management.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals and tracking your results.
- Complete essential training modules including Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to Area and District Managers.
- Lead and motivate the team by tracking department tools through the Performance Tracker.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management from a four-year college or university.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
