About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at The Exploration Company, you will contribute to our crewed vehicle development programs. You will work alongside our engineering teams to design, test, and improve the systems that support our space transportation missions.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, test, and improve products, systems, or processes.
- Contribute to real-world engineering projects and deliverables.
- Develop, test, debug, and document technical solutions, tools, or prototypes.
- Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to support engineering decisions.
- Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Three months or more of relevant engineering experience through internships, co-op programs, or industry projects.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a minimum of 12 weeks.

- This is an on-site role based in Los Angeles, California.
- The internship term begins in January 2027.
- This is a paid position.
