About the role#
This internship provides hands on exposure to the process of building, positioning, and growing consumer brands. You will work with the strategy and creative teams to learn how market research, cultural trends, and competitive analysis inform brand strategy and go to market decisions. This is an unpaid internship, and applicants must be eligible for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate industries and product categories to identify emerging trends and market shifts.
- Identify and understand target consumers by looking at their demographics and purchasing habits.
- Assess competitors by reviewing their positioning, messaging, and product offerings.
- Synthesize research into clear findings, strategic recommendations, and presentations.
- Gain exposure to the full brand development process, from initial research through to go to market planning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program, preferably as a junior or senior.
- Studies in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or Sociology.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides, or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to be in office 1 to 2 days per week.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Commitment: 15 to 20 hours per week for 3 months.
