About the role#
The Familie is looking for an intern to support marketing efforts for our football and basketball athlete clients. You will focus on brand development, partnership opportunities, and social media growth. This role helps our team evaluate and strengthen client presence across digital platforms. You must be eligible for academic credit to participate in this unpaid internship.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and evaluate athlete social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Track social media performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and follower growth to create analytics reports.
- Research comparable athletes and content strategies to identify best practices.
- Brainstorm social-first content ideas that align with an athlete's personal brand.
- Support day-to-day social media execution, including posting, content organization, and account maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university for the duration of the internship.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with the football and basketball landscapes.
- Experience with social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Previous experience in sports marketing or a related field is preferred.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Media Studies are relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an expected 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
- Commitment: 15 to 20 hours per week.
