About the role#
This is a full-time, six-month internship based in Glendale, California. You will support the audio production process for Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Games projects. The role focuses on coordinating audio assets and supporting review pipelines from January 25 to June 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Audio Manager, Sound Supervisor, and Producers to support high-quality audio experiences.
- Manage audio asset deliveries, including voice-over scripts, music mockups, and sound effects.
- Support the audio approval process by providing technical and creative feedback to partners.
- Attend voice-over sessions for various studio projects.
- Play game development builds to evaluate and generate feedback on music, sound design, and voice-over.
- Participate in meetings to capture notes and track follow-up items.
- Organize and archive audio reference materials, brand guidelines, and master assets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Media Studies, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of audio production workflows such as voice-over, music, and sound design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century franchises.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Airtable, SharePoint, or audio databases like SoundMiner or Basehead is preferred.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations or audio middleware such as Wwise or FMOD is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.

- Location: Glendale, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with core in-office hours Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship at $23.00 per hour.
