About the role#
The Weitz Company offers rolling internships for students pursuing degrees in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering, as well as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and Architecture. These positions provide hands-on work experience on project sites or in local offices across the United States. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to assist with daily operations. Successful completion of an internship may lead to full-time job offers upon graduation.
What you'll do#
You will support various departments and project types, including:
- Estimating and Preconstruction
- Field Engineering
- Project Engineering
- Supply Chain and Safety
- Design and VDC
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree program.
- A basic understanding of construction principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn industry-specific software like Asta, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
