About the role#
Tokyo Electron US is seeking a Data Platforms Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will join our data platform and analytics team to build and maintain data products that support business intelligence. You will work directly with business teams to source and transform data, specifically for supply chain operations, while applying Lean principles to your project work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with data and business teams to deliver data products across the organization.
- Develop focused data strategies for scalable, long-term platform and architecture.
- Perform data analysis to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Create feature branches and write unit, integration, and quality assurance tests through pull requests.
- Run and monitor orchestration flows, troubleshoot failures, and maintain data pipelines.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of IT operations and best practices.
- Experience with or understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps and the project development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Clear oral and written communication abilities.
- Preferred technical experience includes Python, SQL, Snowflake, Spark, DBT, Git, Azure DevOps, and data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Austin, Texas.
- The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 20, 2027.
