About the role#
As a Sales Business Analyst Intern, you will apply basic analytical principles to support Sales Support operations. You will work under close supervision to help develop data analysis products, including reports, dashboards, and workflows. This role involves collaborating across departments to provide foundational insights that support business decision-making. You will be expected to apply Lean principles to your project work throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with other teams to understand their specific data needs.
- Assist in data collection and reporting tasks.
- Participate in data validation and integrity checks to ensure accuracy.
- Create basic reports and dashboards under guidance.
- Monitor and maintain existing data products and workflows.
- Identify and assess source data, processes, and current workflows.
- Propose efficient methodologies using our available data sources.
- Conceive of potential AI uses that could increase operational efficiency.
- Attend user group meetings to share knowledge and insights.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business.
- An analytical character with high learning agility.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Pivot, SharePoint, or Snowflake.
- A fundamental understanding of data structures and reporting.
- A desire to take ownership of your work and make a contribution.
