About the role#
Tower Research Capital is hiring for a Quantitative Developer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in either New York or Chicago. You will work directly with traders and researchers to build and refine the firm's trading infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Architect and optimize performant low-latency trading and high-throughput training systems.
- Create tools to analyze data for patterns.
- Make market observations and conduct post-trade analysis.
- Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators.
- Operate the team's high-frequency trading strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program.
- Academic focus in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, with a preference for C++ and Python.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
