About the role#
This is a 12-week internship taking place during the summer of 2027. You will join the team as a software engineer intern to build products and features for the crypto economy. You will solve technical problems at the intersection of web-scale applications and blockchain technology while shipping code that impacts millions of users. During the application process, you will select a preferred team based in either San Francisco or New York City.
What you'll do#
- Write high-quality, well-tested code that ships to production and impacts customers.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn technical and product vision into delivered features.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive feedback.
- Own a defined project end-to-end, from initial scoping through implementation and final launch.
- Learn and apply crypto and blockchain domain concepts to real engineering problems in a production environment.
What you'll need#
- Programming experience in any language, whether from academic work, personal projects, or professional roles.
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete implementation steps.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: web development, mobile development, backend systems, or infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows while maintaining human oversight.
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
