About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers an introduction to technical sales within the HVAC and building automation industry. You will work alongside experienced account managers to understand the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, and services. The program provides insight into the full sales cycle and offers exposure to various business areas, including service, equipment, and building management controls.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers to support project goals.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and service calls.
- Engage in all steps of the sales cycle from start to finish.
- Interact with HVAC equipment and building management controls.
- Gain hands-on experience with the design and application of systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Environmental Engineering.
- Completion of at least your 2nd year of studies before the start of the internship.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
- A valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record.
