About the role#
Trex Company is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern for our Summer 2027 program. You will work within our manufacturing environment to support operational excellence. This role requires you to work on-site in Winchester, Virginia, and involves regular interaction with our engineering and production teams. You must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment while on the production floor.
What you'll do#
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects across our manufacturing operations.
- Participate in CI Events, also known as Kaizens.
- Identify and eliminate waste in our processes.
- Assist CI Engineers with daily routing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering program.
- Completion of at least two semesters of coursework.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
