    About the role#

    Trex Company is looking for a Quality Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Winchester, Virginia. You will work alongside engineers and quality professionals to support our manufacturing and improvement efforts.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect data and perform structured analysis to support engineering tasks.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the quality department.
    • Conduct time studies of current processes to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
    • Streamline how the department collects and stores data.
    • Build tools for the automatic, real-time reporting of quality data.
    • Monitor tasks to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
    • Complete additional projects as assigned by the quality manager or director.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering).
    • Completion of at least two semesters of college coursework.
    • Standing as an upcoming Junior or Senior.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
