    About the role#

    Trex Company is hiring a Research & Development Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Winchester, Virginia. You will work directly with our engineering team to support product development and quality control processes.

    What you'll do#

    You will assist engineers with daily tasks, data collection, and reporting. Your specific projects may include:

    • Analyzing data from dimensional measurement equipment for profile extrusion.
    • Setting up color measurement equipment for quality control use.
    • Helping with product testing to meet building code requirements, including internal and third-party lab testing.
    • Assisting with the first-article inspection of supplied components.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program, specifically Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Completion of at least two semesters of coursework.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
