    About the role#

    We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 program. You will work on-site in Winchester, Virginia, gaining practical experience in safety and environmental program management within a manufacturing environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete projects that improve EHS performance across the organization.
    • Participate in incident investigations to identify hazards, verify corrections, and monitor the effectiveness of existing controls.
    • Assist with the creation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) documents and conduct annual reviews of completed JHAs.
    • Review, create, and update EHS procedures, manuals, and supporting documents.
    • Learn about EHS enterprise systems and develop data-driven solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited degree program in Environmental Engineering, Kinesiology, occupational health and safety, environmental management, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
    • Must be a rising Junior or Senior.
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
