About the role#
This internship takes place over the Summer 2027 term at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant. You will work on-site for approximately 12 weeks. You will receive mentorship from technical specialists and work on projects related to safety leadership, environmental sustainability, and total productive maintenance. This role is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Manage projects focused on safety, environmental policy, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot designs, materials, and production processes.
- Use data and analytics to make decisions.
- Communicate effectively to improve your own performance and the performance of your team.
What you'll need#
- You are a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety Management, or an equivalent field.
- You have completed previous internships or co-ops in a manufacturing setting.
- You have shown leadership in professional, service, or social organizations.
- You are willing and flexible to relocate for the assignment.
